I have this same problem, the issue is that my stubs-32.h is located in /usr/include/i486-linux-gnu/gnu/stubs-32.h not in /usr/local/gnu. I am running kubunut 7.04 64bit -- http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=29196
