I noticed that C++ is unsupported when cross compiling to AIX. I attempted to fix it, but I got stuck on this bug. If it would help you, I can give you the options I used to configure binutils, and a list of the AIX libraries in my AIX sysroot. -- http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=31033
