This attachment provides the -ftime-report output for the same compilation but with GCC 4.1.1 (prerelease). This takes about 1/2 the time as 4.1.0 but is still twice the time of 4.0.2. -- http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=27140
