------- Comment #5 from jvdelisle at gcc dot gnu dot org 2006-04-13 07:20 ------- The "engima" referred to in comment#2 is because it is a list directed read and commas and spaces are deliminators. If you turn this into a read with a format of '(a)' you get the whole string.
