I _can_ reproduce the HPPA problem (at least, I used to be able to reproduce it when I still had access to a HPPA box), but not the PowerPC SMS ICE, indeed with Mustafa's patch reverted. I'm going to spend a few more hours on this. But I don't have access to HPPA or PowerPC so there is really not much I can do other than trying to reproduce the ICEs with cross-compilers and figure out what is wrong.
