The patch you identified as "breaking" this, is correct.  Your bug is
elsewhere.  But, there is no way to tell where without a test case.

Unless you're going to talk about public viewable sources, perhaps you should
sort out what is wrong here internally, and derive a test case before filing a
bug.

You've been around long enough to know better than to file bugs about SPEC and
start an audit trail without a test case.  In case you forgot what is required
of you as a reporter, see http://gcc.gnu.org/bugs.html.

Closing because this bug report is just below par.  You can file a new one when
you have a test case and everything else.
