------- Additional Comments From fxcoudert at gcc dot gnu dot org 2005-06-19 07:51 ------- In fact, gfortran does issue a runtime error (if iostat and err tags are removed): "Fortran runtime error: FILE parameter must not be present in OPEN statement"
But sure, it could be usefull to detect this at compile-time when possible (as g77 does). Confirmed and marked as enhancement for this point. -- What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Severity|minor |enhancement Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEW Ever Confirmed| |1 GCC build triplet|i586-mandrake-linux-gnu | GCC host triplet|i586-mandrake-linux-gnu | GCC target triplet|i586-mandrake-linux-gnu | Keywords| |diagnostic Last reconfirmed|0000-00-00 00:00:00 |2005-06-19 07:51:29 date| | http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=21435
