The patch was committed to a branch, but not to mainline. I already had a number of unreviewed patches pending, and AFAICR we didn't have any meta-bug to make dependent on them, so I thought it was pointless to formally submit any more at that time. -- http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=20365
