Dear All, The UK Minister of Foreign Affairs William Hague launched the UK’s annual report on human rights and democracy this morning at Lancaster House.
The report is 388 pages long. It describes some of the activities and diplomatic positions taken by the Foreign Office in 2011 to advance human rights around the world. The report is partly structured thematically – with sections on democracy, criminal justice and the rule of law, countering terrorism, business and human rights. There is also an LGBT section.
