Hi everyone.

Well it took me phoning apple support, and in fairness the lady I spoke to was hugely helpfull and just sat on the phone and walked me through the sign in process. The main problem with the account and payment settings page from a vo perspective (particularly for someone not used to the system), is that hitting the "next" button basically flips you straight to the next text item to check, so even if you've filled in all the fields, you need to hammer through them all with next. i didn't get this until the lady mentioned what the "next" button was actually doing, and she admitted herself that it was a less than helpfull setup page in access terms and put in a bug report.

this however is now done! I admit apples general evilness, however they do have some good games and such, and for this reason I celibrated my apple id working by buying lost cities, and showed the first computer opponent who is boss into the bargain! :D.

Lost cities however does play quite nicesly, and once three have finished my network setup I'll be able to be defeated by you all :D. my id is darktenor if someone is looking.

the interface of the game is very doable, and indeed I like several of the way things work. The only thing I'd like to know (which is probably a vo issue), is how to go intantly from the start of the page to the end, so that I can look at my cards more quickly, sinse as it is I need a lot of flipping around to see my hand.

Also, does the game have music? I've heard a number of sfx and the spoken rules and tutorial, but no music other than that in the audio tutorial file.

On the plus side the game looks addictive and quite logical, and as I said I was able to win my first round (mostly due to some last minute luck with white coin cards and having a run on white saved up in my hand), so despite all the bad apples, maybe I get something nice out of this after all!

Beware the grue!

Dark.
