Thanks Tom. I am an authorised JAWS v 12 licence holder and have held authorised JAWS licences for each version since version 3.7. Do you think this entitles me to obtain the older independent SAPI 5 version of Daniel which I would have got with JAWS v 9 if I'd still got the installation CDs?

They shipped with a number of products such as K1000, Openbook 8, Jaws 9, etc. After Nuance took over Scansoft they changed the license on their Realspeak voices and now the versions you get with Jaws, Openbook, and Supernova are locked to that specific product. In short, if you want an independant version of Realspeak Daniel you will need to get an older Sapi 5 version rather than use the newer Realspeak Solo Direct voices. Either that or buy the Nuance Vocalizer voices which are the same thing, but extremely expensive.
