The same reason wy I will go to the alps to do cross country skeeing, but
have no interest in going to a dry skee slope, using a skee machine or
taking it on as a full time sport.
The experience of being up in the mountains, wandering out in the woods with
a pare of skees, observing the really nice views of the mountains, just
enjoying the experience, then coming back to the lodge to drink gluvine in
the evenings. It is a full, easthetic experience in a complete style.
Thus, if I were going to a casino I'd want! to wear a tux, to drink
coctales, listen to a decent jaz band, to have a place with real green base
tables and human dealers, sinse it is the quality of the experience that
really interests me, not the gambling itself, which is why those glorified
ranks of slot machines you get in the Uk, with perhaps one roulet wheel, a
fast food place and a nightclub pumping out the latest chart topping
rubbish.
As I said, pure gambling doesn't bother me at all really, especially in
those games such as roulette or on slot machines where there is no mental
exercize or skill required, it's just the quality of the experience I'm sort
of interested in.
Beware the Grue!
Dark.
