On the game's download page are two 1 hour long tutorials, which
cover a lot of the game.

Hi Austin,

Well, I don't know of any mp3 tutorials that give you a lot of detail
about the game, but playing it is a lot like this.

You select a new game, select a map size, and tell it if it will bee
all land, all sea, or a combination of land and sea.

After that it will start a game and create a capital city for you to begin with. "At this point you'll need some infantry you'll have your new city recruit a few infantry units which you can assign to tasks like roaming to look for other towns and cities in your area. Once you find one you can have your infantry move in, take it over, and then
have the new town produce tanks, jets, ships, more infantry, etc.

Eventually, you will run out of abandoned cities and towns and
encounter enemy troops and enemy held cities. At that point you'll have to come up with a strategy to create a combat force of infantry, tanks, and jets to battle the enemy forces and take control of the city. You basically go on that way until you win or lose the game.

As a quick correction, the page for my (Aprone's) games is at this link:

Since I'm already writing, I'll mention that Castaways has 5 missions. :) It's hard to know if the game is what you're looking for though Austin, since War games might mean different things to different people. I
believe
Thomas has provided a pretty good list of games to start with though. At least some of these should be what you're looking for since they seem to
cover a wide interpretation of the genre "War games".

Hi Austin,

Well, I'd highly recommend visiting
http://www.gmagames.com
which has a number of games you might be interested in
here.

First, is GMA Tank Commander which is a modern tank warfare
simulation
that is extremely good.
Second, is Lone Wolf which is a World War II submarine
simulation that
also comes highly recommended for military/war type games.

Finally, there is Time of Conflict which is a real time
strategy game
that allows you to control hundreds of troops, tanks, jets,
and ships
in a total world conquest type game.

For racing games I'd suggest looking at Rail Racer by
http://www.blindadrenaline.com
which is probably the best racing game on the market.
Although
Topspeed by Playing in the Dark and Match 1 by Kitchensinc
is a couple
of other free alternatives.

Aprone has written a couple of games that might be of
interest as
well. The first is called Castaways which starts out with a
group of
people washed up on a island and you have to build a town,
farms, aan
army and sail away. Plus there are currently are two other
missions
available for the game. The second is called Swamp which is
an FPS
style multiplayer game where you join a team of online
survivers who
are battling an army of zombies. Both games can be found
on
http://www.kaldobsky.com/games.

Cheers!.
