hi im sorry to say but, is that the way of claiming things like this on your
own and presume that what you know is right, and you know much than the
developer?
come on, jim may had also considered it in some way or another in the past,
so how can you actually say that they are gcf not gcx?

Jim, the golf files are .gcf not .gcx
I just renamed a;; tje .gcx files to .gcf and there are loads all the
packs or most of them from the last 2 years are named gcx.
