the synth is just a temp thing.
Its supposed to be voiced later on.
I got things working fine. yes the loading did take a while, but
game eventually loaded and this cutscene loaded. btw I hate the fact
that this game uses a synth and this will probably stop me from
buying it. anyhow, I got past the intro scene, then game told me to
press shift with the arrows to look around. I did that and nothing
happened. I tried walking, and nothing happened. so what am I doing
wrong? I tried putting my screen reader to sleep, and shutting it off. nothing.

That's the first I've heard of that. I also thought it wasn't
working but it was because it takes so ong to load tat Windows
thinks it's not responding. But just to make sure, did you press
Enter and get the little Action sound after the intro message finished playing?

what really sucks is the fact I was never able to get the game to
work. When I tried moving around the arrow keys didn't respond at

As far as I remember the last demo was version 5, but according
to the developers' posts about the game progress is deffinately
being made and I don't think it'll be too long before the full version is out.
