Depends on what you want help with. Everything you said about moving
behind and shocking with sudden attacks doesn't usually work since
the game is always in motion and attacks are almost always coming
out. Baiting is a good trick, where you fool your opponent into
thinking you're going to do a certain move but then you turn around
and do something completely different.

Not knowing what how the game works, but you could turn around, run
away, make your opponent, make him or laugh, turn around, shock her
and launch her a surprise attack. Another thing you could do is just
go behind her, distract her, and cansle out some hits. I don't know
how street fighter works, so someone please help me.

Doesn't matter how close you get. People like Guy can get out of
corners easily... and those attacks can do no damage if you can't
hit with them. So I'd change up your strategy a bit. Just a
friendly word of advice. lol. And that lariot can't be used on
wakeup... I can counter that with guy's bushin senpukyaku or ryu's
shoryuken. lol.

Heh I know it is, however gief's attacks are so powerful that even
if a few don't connect, the ones that do will do so much damage
that it won't matter much in the longrun haha. The standing HK
will work, but gief is a pretty slow character over all, which is
why I'm always trying to cover up the distance with his specials
before doing anything else. up close is pretty much the only way
gief can be effective. I could always keep using double lariots to
cover distance fast, but I don't like using those much due to the
abuse potential. I could just keep using them immediately upon
wakeup and you'd be doomed lol. I think it's actually worse than Ryu spamming.

Oh by the way Yohandi, I like your gief strategy.. close up and
personal. I will say though, that green palm of his looks really
predictable the way you use it. Try and mix it up with some
standing heavy kicks and double lariots. Just a tip from what I've noticed.
