Hi Kevin, VB 6 is not officially supported on Windows Vista and Windows 7, but you can still run VB 6 apps on newer Windows operating systems if you install the old VB 6 runtime files. Its just a matter of installing the proper dependencies rather than have them ship with the operating system out of the box. I have a number of accessible games that were all written in VB 6 that run more or less ok on Windows 7. There are some notable exceptions like with Shades of Doom the 3d audio fails to work correctly on Windows 7, and I beleive that has to do with the age of DirectSound 8. Windows 7 uses a different audio mixer that isn't quite fully backwards compatible with XP and earlier. The only way to fully correct that problem is to switch to XAudio2 so I have been told. There are other issues, but there are usually work arounds for them. Such as if a game wasn't written to be user acount control compatible you can just turn UAC off. Not the best solution, but can be done if needed.
