Hi Sean. I played ashes of angels myself for a wile, a quite entertaining litle game, ---- i particularly like the way that all the spaceships fly in real time, so when it says "you'll reach mars at 11.00 tomorrow" it's not joking.
Quite a fun game, though I never really personally got into the hole economic stratogy business myself, and there never seemed to be any npcs to fight (and I certainly didn't want to pick fights with pcs), Anyway, you can find the game at http://www.ashesofangels.com/ Oh, and it's all just played in internet explorer, no download necessary.
