I thought "google" is what you do when you see the site.  You google your 
eyes at it.  I once had a Jack-in-the-box that contained the clown, Barney 
Google.  I wonder if there is any relation there?  For orneriness, I cut his 
clothing right at the point where it joined the box.  Then, when someone 
cranked it enough to release the lid, he really jumped out of the box!! 
(ornery grin in rememberence)
