Agreed, actually I think some game types such as Galaxy ranger with it's
multiple shortcut keys would be made considderably harder by using a mouse.

With any new controller though, I think there's a need to get used to
things, ------ having very much grown up in the joystick generation, I found
switching to curser keys on the Pc required a bit of adaptation,
particularly sinse in curser keys my hands are reversed (the right
controlling movement rather than the left). but obviously I'm well used to
it by now.

with the mouse and it's analogue control though, there's even more to get
used to than in switching from a joystick to keyboard.

In the case of sited computer users though, I think there's a bit of a
concept difference in using a mouse rather than a keyboard, sinse
interacting with the screen using the pointer is more pensel-esque than
using a keyboard, involving highlighting etc, and having to move items
around the screen like pushing papers around a real desk top.

i've sometimes had concept disagreements with sited computer users who
identify things by screen location rather than by what they're called (yes,
I know this is partly a screen reader thing as well).

All the best,

Dark.
