Thanks chris, I've phoned the person who'll be Gming my game, and he says that'll do. I stil think though it's a shame that something as universally accessible as dice roleplay is made so difficult by lack of books. while I don't have a problem with the system document (having played Ad&D before), I don't think it'd be the best way into the game for people who were just starting. Someone really ought to approach wizards about having accessible coppies of at least the players handbook and perhaps some extra supliments available.
As regards D&D games, I'm actually surprised there aren't more skype games going on, sinse it deffinately strikes me as something worth doing over the net, ----- but perhaps when I manage to buy a Usb mike and can look into naccessible chat etc I'll find some other games running. Phil's unfortunately wouldn't exactly be practical on a Uk time frame, sinse I generally like to try and game some work on my phd done on Monday mornings, and playing D&D betwene 2 and 5 am probably wouldn't help this. Beware the Grue! Dark. _______________________________________________ Gamers mailing list ..
