This topic is a bit off topic for this forum, but before closing downt 
this thread I will will answer your questions.
I've known for quite a while that Vista and XP had abilities to create 
dos startup disks, but I don't have a 3.5 floppy in my laptop or desktop 
so can not take advantage of that feature. At Least not from the 3.5, 
but here is a hint.
Some burning software such as Nero will allow you to make a dos startup 
cd which works equally as good if not better as you can burn all your 
dos programs to it provided you don't need to make changes to the 
settings files.
