There is a version on the Interactive Fiction Archive called Adventure 770. If memory serves me right, there is a Windows version. I wouldn't be surprised if it's possible to compile a version from the freely available source using Cygwin or mingw32. Yes, this is techno-babble, I know, but basically, there are a couple of Linux/Unix-like environments that can be installed on top of Windows to enable people to run Unix apps under Windows.

I found a copy of this game out on the internet, and I can get it running as an audio game with dictation on the iphone and ipad with a week or two of work. Here's a wiki about the game. Many of you have probably played it - it's the grandfather of adventure games.
