Hi Bogdan.
You don't select blessings in the farming screen, but on the magic screen,
where there is a list of specific gods. You can either sacrifice for a one
time shot of the blessing, or build a shrine or temple that gives more
blessings, but has a yearly upkeepe cost.
As to heroquests, again, look on the magic screen then "quests" and you
should find where to start the heroquest. Select the "making of the storm
tribe" quest, then choose who goes (though mostly the game will select the
best person for the job first), and whether your asking allies for extra
magic.
If your successful getting your quester onto the heroquest, you will then
have a cyoa style interface of what your hero does to reinact the myth, btw,
make sure you've read the myth about the storm tribe so your clear on what
to do, and that you have the secrets listed so know the information sinse
doing the wrong thing is a sure way to loose out on the quest, though even
if you do the right thing it's not a guarantee of success.

The layout is a bit odd, sinse the blessings are in two columns with
radial selector buttons and descriptions. Any blessings that you don't
yet have access to will be disabled, where as blessings you have access

If you have the right blessing selected but aren't seeing the result,
it's possible that your simply having bad luck or having some other
circumstances that is causing a problem, for example just because you
have humact's blessing to battle doesn't necessarily mean you'll win
every fight, although it's surprising how well a few battle blessings can
help.

As to how to increase your herd size without raiding, well you have
several options. You can put magic into herds, get blessings that
increase herd size (euralda and ernalda are good hear, particularly sinse
as a peace clan your chief should be an ernalda worshipper which should
give you additional blessings from her).

Another option is trade, indeed I have found myself that even when
playing a balanced clan having a temple to the talking god as well as one
of his worshippers on the ring, and then initiating trade partnerships is
a great way to progress sinse it's remarkable how many problems can be
solved by throwing trade goods at them :D.
