follow the passage to the end. It's called "A lesser pitfiend" and you find
it sleeping. possibly it needs to repop? once I'd found the manhole down I

the cell is an alternative way into the sewers from the basement of the
chapel. As I recall, there is a choice of paths in the sewer pipe, north
and
west I believe. The lesser pit fiend is up the other path in the actual
room
called "sewers of bandora azul"
