That sucks.
Well I have had to deal with 2 of my backups going byebye and only by
the skin of my teeth restoring them all to get them ok.
And I had to deal with an old system wipe issue where a system I was
servicing was overheating majorly and had to wipe it as well as a few
other issues.
Cancer sucks I know at least 3 people friends and family that have had
it in various places, lets hope it stays away for a while at least
long enough for you to get back to work and enjoy a few more years
developing.
