Hi, I have tried to paste an answer below each section. snip I'm climbing up a rope. I'm hearing something, its either a key or gold. This sound is right in front of me, in the centre of my sterio sound field. So I was climbing until I reached the ceiling. But I still heard the sound in front of me. How do I jump to get it because if I jump while I'm at the ceiling I'm going down the rope again. How is It possible to get that key or gold? end snip
I believe you are on the vine that is right before the first door. just before you reach the cieling the gem is just to your left. You will have to practice jumping in that direction to get it. Try turning on the viewer that lets you move around and see what is there without moving the character. snip Also when I'm walking on the ground, I can hear a key or gold to the left of me. But when I move left there's a wall. So how do I get past the wall to get to the item which hmakes the rinkling sound? end snip This is a flaw that the new version will try to resolve. The sound you are hearing is on the other side of the wall. You will have to find a way around and get the item then. snip What is actually the function of a rope? The function of a ladder or stone steps is to take you to another part of the temple. But if you climb up a rope you get to the ceiling. Also, can you jump left and right while on a rope? At one stage it happened to me that I was on a rope and I also heard something rinkling to the left of me. First I pressed my left arrow; nothing happens. My character stays where it is. Then I first pressed spacebar and then left arrow and then angela screamed while she was falling. So how is it possible to fall down arope and die if you jump but if you just try to walk, nothing happens? end snip I do believe that you can walk off an edge and fall. The rope is actually a vine that allows the character to move to other levels where a ladder is not available. There is only a couple of places where you can jump off of the vine and fall to your death. most places you will land on a ledge or floor. It is possible to jump too far and death will result.
