For my fellow subscribers.
I have Bernard's permission to ask this inportant favor of all.
Please read the letter that is down below and also sign the petition that
toes along with the letter.
I have a couple of ADA lawyers looking into it from over here in the states.
Even though the letter and the petition wasn't started from the U.S.
But the company is in the U.S.
So, you would think they would know better.
For now, we just would like to have their security capture codes blind
friendly.
That way we can set up a steam account.
since it looks like all of the games are going to the steam platform.
Then after we can get our foot in the door and can access the account and
then community pages.
We'll go from there.
But all we're asking for is a level playing ground.
For now, the only game I would probably down load to get would be the up
dated version of the Microsoft Flight simulator since the voice input
program It's Your Plane from Canada has made the IYP interface to work with
FSX steam version.
So I thank you for your help
And now here's the letter and the petition.

Many Thanks.
Now, here's the letter and the petition that I'm talking about.

The more people know about this, the better. Please sign and share, even if
you are not using Steam!

Recently, I have started a petition to urge Valve to make their Steam gaming
platform more accessible to the blind and visually impaired, using screen
readers on pcs.
I thought this would be quite important to spread, as currently Valve
Corporation seems to ignore any attempt of direct contact. Collecting as
many signatures as we can, as well as raising awareness might change their
mind, hopefully for the best!

Raising awareness among game developers was my first goal, as I experience
the shortcomings of mainstream games.
Luckily, I am not alone, with the help of a few friends of mine we managed
to make a mainstream game fully accessible and playable for the first time
ever.
encore-to-enhance-accessibility-for-blind-players/)
Currently, a lot of developers are aware, however only a select few choose
to implement extra features which aid us in reading menus, game text, or
provide extra sound cues for navigation and object location.
Still, I consider this as a huge success and a great achievement, since
until now, there was no other fully accessible game available.
Yet again, I am not alone: many people regard the first ever blind
accessible game as a success, however the accessibility of the platform it
is released on is short on praise, to say the least.
Valve Corporation's Steam is home to many pc games and software, with a huge
user base. Unfortunately, they do not ensure that their software can be
accessed equally, especially by blind or low vision user s.
Many of us, including myself, have attempted contacting them, with no luck
whatsoever.
I am currently petitioning for accessibility at
https://www.change.org/p/valve-corporation-make-the-steam-platform-more-
accessible-to-blind-and-visually-impaired-people
with the hope that this time, Valve Corporation will listen. More than
600 people chose to sign, they certainly believe so.

Thank you very much for any assistance you can provide in advance!

Have a nice day,
Rob

So I clicked on the link and it is the correct petition.
So, I went and click on send as link.
The above link is want came up and I stress tested it.
It works.
So there you have it.
Like in the original letter.
If the link doesn't work, e-mail Rob.
