Hi Ishan,

Well, I don't think the story or game you have in mind is stupid. On
the contrary it would make sense from a fantasy quest type of game
that if one would want to marry the daughter of a powerful king that
he would have to prove himself worthy of the princess's hand in
marriage and have to undergo a few quests of some type thereby proving
himself worthy of the princess. I think the only concession I'd make
to your game idea is rather than have the hero be a prince he should
be a commoner therefore making it more realistic from a historical
point of view.

The reason I say that is in the middle ages princesses were frequently
married off to a foreign king or a eligible prince to form
partnerships with a foreign power. /Rarely would an eligible prince
have to worry about obtaining a princesses hand in marriage because
any sort of marriage between the daughter of king x and the son of
king y would often be arranged as some partnership between those
kingdoms. However, if someone not of royal blood wanted to marry the
princess he'd have to do something extraordinary to obtain the king's
favor and that is where I see this game going as far as a storyline
goes.

Anyway, as previously stated I don't know of any accessible games like
that interactive fiction or otherwise at the moment. I suppose though
someone could write one. It doesn't sound like an overly complicated
project. It does require some thought though.

Cheers!
