Hi John, Something like that. Depends on the brand being used but usually it is no more than $0.10 for an average writable CD to burn the OS on for installation. Of course, that's for a base install. Some Linux distributions have full DVD images that costs more because of the cost of the DVD, but come with a huge selection of software right on the disc image.
