The game was called wayfar, as in way far. the game's site can be found at http://wayfar1444.comm you can connect with host wayfar144.com on port 7777. The game is actually more like a browser game than a mud, you wander through different environments on an alien planet, gather resources, build buildings guns and other forms of technology, can hack devices and do all sorts of other things. Unfortunately when i last went on I found several bits of my colony blown up which was annoying and I can't quite remember where I was in terms of building stuff now which makes it a trifle hard to continue. dam that pvp!
