Hi.
When a game is listed as a browser game it will work with pretty much any
browser, internet explorer, firefox, safari or whatever. If it needed flash
or anything fancy I'd have noted that on the audio description.
I assume by "text visuals" you mean abled graphics on the website? well
personally I never mind so long as the lables let you know what is going on
in the game, after all there isn't a lot of difference between typing "n" in
an if game or a mud or clicking a link labled "go north" even if that link
is alt text for an image of a pointing arrow.
I've played a lot of rather good browser games, indeed just this morning I
went back to Core exiles, which is one where the developer has really gone
over board with access, so I'd personally recommend you considder giving
these a try, particularly if you like rpgs, social games, trading or
competition.
Regarding access, I'm afraid I still don't know what you mean about this
accessibility conference thingy. As I said, I've played the game, found it
entirely accessible once you enabled the blind mode setting, sinse all the
items and weapons and what not have descriptions and there are no
inaccessible image links, nasty use of canvas or the like.
I personally don't rate A3 as much as some others, but that's likely more a
preference thing sinse A3 is quite a competitive and social game where I
prefer cooperation and exploration, thus I personally enjoyed Core exiles,
Kingdom of Loathing, metroplexities, The reborn and Puppet nightmares a lot
more (albeit the last has quite the learning curve).
Beware the grue!
Dark.
