Hi Thomas, I think that my favorite part of the Windows GUI, is the, desk top. You know just press a letter or number to run a program or do something. Of course I did the same thing in dos with a batch file or series of batch files.
I do find the Windows find feature very useful, you know to find a file on a drive and or specific path on a drive. And batch files do cut way down on the repetitive typing for doing command prompt type tasks. Guess that I do like to use a combination of the GUI, and the command prompt. So I would be very disappointed if they ever took the command prompt and batch files away from me.
