Hi Steven, A decade or so ago when I started with the winkit and self extracting zip files it all worked perfectly and was very easy to do in XP. Which I am still running. But over the years I guess that Windows has changed and made my plan not work as well. I am thinking and trying to fix that. Still not sure that there is an installer that will create the kitchensinc folder where Windows now wants it and will then extract the rest of my games to that folder where ever it is.
One thing about the self extracting zip files to install my games is that it does not clutter your registry file and does not leave any footprint when you remove the game via the batch file. BTW I am not very good at changes. Guess that it is hard enough for me to figure out how to do something in the first place. <Doh!> Have a good one. BFN Jim A long time ago I changed my name from Ron Moore. j...@kitchensinc.net http://www.kitchensinc.net (440) 286-6920 Chardon Ohio USA --- Gamers mailing list __ Gamers@audyssey.org If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to gamers-unsubscr...@audyssey.org.
