Hi Shaun, Yes, exactly. Not only that some clients are setup, like mine, to strip attachments by default for security reasons. I don't have any intention of accidentally getting a virus through email attachment, and if I get a Dropbox link with a friend saying it is a podcast of a game like ESP Pinball I am 99% sure it is the real deal and not some spambot sending me an email virus. :D
That is why, for example, this list is setup to remove attachments. It is more secure for everyone if games, podcasts, whatever are shared through cloud sharing services not via email attachments.
