Hi Thomas.
Thank you, I had to put my two pennyworth in somewhere, but I think my
message sums up the feeling generally quite well which is that piracy is
self defeating and only takes any incentive any developer would have in
making these games for us. We are an incredibly small minority of gamers,
we are totally self sufficient and independent of any major gaming
influences such as the game studios etc., so we're unsupported and alone,
trying to build entertaining products with limited resources.
All the best, Ibrahim.

Subject: Re: [Audyssey] Newly Released Reacting Change
Hi Ibrahim,
Well said. It is messages like the one Nicole sent why I have
considered more than once of finishing a game like Mysteries of the
Ancients and quit developing games for the public. Nicole and others
like her are going to steel anything I create anyway so there is no
money in writing games for a bunch of self-centered, greedy, brats. I
wonder how Nicole would feel if all the audio game developers decided
there was no money in it, closed their doors, and told her if she
wants games she'll have to write them herself from now on, because
piracy has run them out of business.
Cheers!

Hi Nicole.
OK, tell you what, why don't all developers stop developing games right
now,
just shut down and release all their games as freeware. Play their games
to
your hearts content, send them around to your friends, do what the hell
you
like. OK, so you're now board of the games you spent so much time wishing
you could have for nothing. Well, you've got them and because of your
selfish desire the developers no longer want to waste their time and
resources on our little fishpond of a community. What happens when you
want
more games? No developers want to make them, so you're stuck playing the
same old games for ever more. Stick that one down your craw and smoke it,
I'm seriously ticked off both with you and this discussion, especially as
I've gone out of my way to offer to help you. OK, spurn my help if you
don't want it, but remember what I said, there are plenty of games out
there
which are community developed and freely available, all you have to do is
ask and I will show you.
All the best, Ibrahim.
