Sure. I think generally I would feel the same way. Although, from what
I gather from both on and off list discussions with this person she is
a bit naive. I try to take that sort of thing in to account, because
for whatever reason many blind people grow up being sheltered from the
real world and are pretty naive about things like this. I think based
on what Nicole said her comments, although insensitive, were based on
ignorance rather than criminal intent.

For example, she asked if there were multiple meanings for steeling.
Well, its pretty obvious to me that she is a bit naive about things
like that if she has to ask. The thing to do is to explain it to her,
and see what happens next. In other words try and give the person the
benefit of the doubt when and where possible.
