Well, trosques are large, green scaly serpents of doom lirking around in the Mirk. If your lucky (or unlucky if your Mr is low), you'll meet one. If you can manage to bring it down and have the skill of hunting, you can cut off it's horns and sell them, but to say they are supposed to be ultra rare items of doom, they only gave about 200 gold per horn.
They don't turn up that often though, and you might need a high Mr or good magic in order to successfully fight them off. Beware the grue!
