PS Just remembered since one of my missions involves intercepting a Federation ship stolen by founders if you failed to catch it before it went in to enemy space hypathetically in following missions Cardassians, Breen, and Jem'hadar ships might have better hardware like quantum torpedoes for example stripped or replicated from the stolen ship. However, if you intercepted it in time and destroyed it enemies don't get quantums, better sensors, etc.
