Yes, I think using the mouse or a joystick will generally improve your chances of posting faster lap times. Rail Racer does not include multi player support, however your lap and course times will be posted on the web so you can compare your times to others, and I will be hosting racing tournaments for cash prizes from time to time, so we can get some good competitions going.
