hi allison, some commands are changed slightly for different muds, but in general most of the commands are the same. obviously a sci fi mud is going to have a few different commands than a medeval type one, but there are quite a few the same. what you pretty much have to do is experiment. try a command. if it doesn't work, look for help on it, ask on one of the channels generally there are beginner hints to set you up with these. that's pretty much the way of figuring out new muds. generally websites are good to look at, especially newbie guides. once you get a bit more experience in different muds it's easier to adapt.
