Hi. Well, I can safely say your friend Adam doesn't know what he is talking about. the Star Wars New Jedi Order, NJO, books has a Wookie Jedi in it. If he is only going by movies and then he is far behind on Star Wars info. There is several Star Wars triligies in books, and there is much more to the story than the 6 movies reveal.
