Hi Shaun, Why don't you use Wintads for Widows Tads games as well? I've heard that Windows XP does not work with dos stuff, because XP doesn't support DOS, because it is not based on dos. Some commercial games we've tried getting to run on XP on my dad's PC don't work at all, like FIFA 97 and Euro 2000. Other games you have to sit for ages with the compatibility wizzard. As for something to read the screen, when I used to do dos textbased games, I rooted the Jaws cursor to the PC cursor. At school we used Window Bridge.
