I don't think we should be wedded to a timezone. Everyone has different timezones. Eg today is thursday, tomorrow is thursday in the us, and today is thursday night in the uk. Or is it wednesday? The point is we will get confused, let it lie guys, saying that I think gmt if any timezone is chosen should be a base since it is what all time zones come off anyway.
