From the moderation level we had seen better mail interfaces such as 
mailman. Yahoo's mailing list interface and options were felt to be less 
than ideal. One case in example is that we can now block faked emails at 
the ip level without having to block the address. This means people like 
Michael Fair who unjustly had his address stolen and used for spam can 
use this list unmoderated while the spammers who stole and abuses his 
address are blocked.
We now have better and tighter control over spam filtering, greater 
security, and the added advantage of having the list and web site rolled 
in to one package.
