it could definitely affect it.
sun has some kind of metric for how many CPUs should be in the box for
each ethernet port. if memory serves, it is about 1 processor per two
ports.
but, it will depend greatly on how much traffic you are routing between
the ports on the qfe cards, if they are on different busses, etc.
