I have a squid cache in a dmz off a pair of Nokia IP440s in HA mode and have noticed extensive log entries. The Squid box is Nat'd both internally and externally and is set to proxy http on port 8080. In the logs I notice that a request for a page from a particular machine might consist of 20 or more entries, the only difference being that the S-Port value increments for each entry (eg. 1164, 1165,,,1178). Please reassure me that this is normal and that my firewall isn't being overworked.
