Yep, lots of good work arounds in there. I use the sticky toggle with delay between the toggles. In another chrome annoyance, I just had a recent update start looking very peculiar with the window decorations screwed up and an extra set of window management buttons in the chrome window itself, but I found the setting that says "Hey! Let the damn window manager control that stuff" and turning that on made the decorations go back to normal. (I really wonder what goes through the brain of chrome developers lately).
