Hi,

In Arch Linux, we add a .desktop file for fvwm in /etc/X11/sessions/.

For fvwm we use:

[Desktop Entry]
Encoding=UTF-8
Name=FVWM2
Comment=The fvwm2 window manager
Exec=fvwm2
# no icon yet, only the top three are currently used
Icon=
Type=Application

and for fvwm-devel:

[Desktop Entry]
Encoding=UTF-8
Type=XSession
Exec=/usr/bin/fvwm
TryExec=/usr/bin/fvwm
Name=fvwm-devel

Perhaps you would want to, at least, add a .desktop file in the source tarball.

Eric
