I have used x2x and x2vnc with the desktop environments xfce and lxde with no problems. Only when I replaced opebox with fvwm within lxde did the problems begin. I have noticed one way to cause the problem is to press CTRL-S in firefox, that pops up a "Save as" dialog window. The problem continues until I restart fvwm. -- Craig
